NZ Sim Card Recommendations
 

Hi All,
Will be month in NZ starting in February: can anyone recommend a 30 day (or renewable) sim card for iPhone ? When in Europe I use the Orange Holiday (which was okay but was data only).
Would prefer data + phone access, also wondering bandwidth is in N Island & S Island (we will mostly be in tourist areas). Is it cost-effective to have both?
A bit cautious about which sim I choose, prefer getting it before the trip, but fine with installing it on the plane over. Sims can be traps for scams, so appreciate your experience and advice on best connectivity in a country I have zero experience with.

Also, we prefer avoiding ATT as it's too expensive vs. local sims-realize that many of you disagree, but want to focus on sim cards that are inserted into the phone, so I can easily dump them when I'm done.
