I'm embarrassed to confess that there's heaps on that list that I've not done.
2014 might have to be the year to get to know my own city a little better!

I feel the same - I saw the list in something I linked to by chance yesterday - and I don't get out much (child-minding when not working). Still, I now have aspirations ...

Mr Wong (latest Merivale restaurant) is brilliant if you haven't been.

I was taken to Frankies by some young people, the pizza is amazing, but have to confess I could never find it again! This guide to small bars is also useful, it has the address of Frankies and Baxter Inn.

Cathie & Susan - we need to do a club crawl ;). Friends have been telling me about Baxters for a year or so - but said I'd need a blood hound to find it.

It's a great idea, I'm warning you though, I'm a very poor drinker these days. Two cocktails and I'll be completely gone.

Susan7, you lucky girl! If you would like a restaurant recommendation, we had a fantastic meal at Budakan (sp) which is more or less next door to The Chelsea Food market. You'll need to book. I don't know if you are a fan of Sex and the City but it's the restaurant where Carrie's wedding rehearsal dinner was held. The venue is spectacular as was the food. Modern Asian food.
