NSW - Feb, March or April

If we're going to be mainly in NSW, which is generally the best month?

I really don't know what kind of weather you like. Check out www.weather.com, type in Sydney and go to averages. Days are longest in February. Beaches will be warmest.

Not really looking for beach.
We want to sight see in Sydney, and visit a friend in Orange, visiting wineries while there.
I'd prefer it not too hot as I expect we'll do a lot of walkng.

Then probably April would be best for you. It is usually lovely then and not as hot as the earlier months ( February can be very humid).

April is one of the best months in Sydney (also my birthday!)

It's not too cold for anything, but cool enough to do anything. Great days, pleasant nights!

Thanks margo - that sounds perfect.

I agree - April is definately the most beautiful month for weather. Be aware that Easter, Anzac Day public holiday and school holidays are all in April !!
