Aww Mel, I thought you were coming back for Christmas!

Have fun in your winter wonderland.
We Warm Bloods fantasize about White Christmases ;)

Hi Bokahara -

We've been in wet, gloomy Germany for the past two weeks. One week left, and not a snow flake in sight. No worries, our driveway at home is no doubt buried in the stuff.

A possible to return to NZ is under discussion for next year.

Christie - I hope the report helps, although is probably one of my least detailed NZ trip reports - I have many others on this forum if you want to search.

Good luck with your planning.

This year, my german panfried sent me a Christmas card which includes a very sweet christmas verse all about the winter snow, from which I inferred [obviously wrongly] that they had a lot of it.

it's about 15C here and the sun just came out.

weird weather for which we will undoubtedly pay later in the year.

German panfried?

We saw our first snow today annhig...a small patch of the manmade stuff surrounded by green. Everyone grumbling about global warming around here, but we've had a boatload of the stuff in Colorado so far this year.

penfriend - it's not me, honest, guv, it's my laptop. They have a life of their own, don't they?

somehow named is not the same as the real thing, is it Mel?

annhig Dec 17th, 2015 01:35 PM

it's happened again -Manmade, obviously.

Snow - at Christmas - how ridiculous! The mangoes wouldn't ripen!
