Welcome to Fodors. I have to admit I had never heard of Niue until I read your thread title. Looked it up - total population under 2,000. And just two flights a week - from Auckland. That must be one exotic house sit :)

Hi! Thanks for the kind welcome. In fact, I have visited Niue, for two weeks, in 2018. I have friends (met through the Lonely Planet forum!) that invited me to experience an authentic immersion into an island culture. It’ll be hot and humid. Nothing new. But, really remote! I’m excited!
