New Zealand Music

Hi, we will be driving some 2000km in our forthcoming trip to New Zealand. Any suggestions for good music to listen to in the car by local artists? We like rock, jazz, folk ethnic......anything really. Thanks!

Crowded House, Split Enz, any of Neil and Tim Finn's solo work or one of the CDs they did together, Neil's son Liam Finn...

I forgot to mention that if you like The Lord of the Rings, the soundtracks would be great to take along. We didn't bring ours and really wished we had.

There's a boxed set titled "The Great New Zealand Song Book" that came out last year. It covers all the top artists and songs in many different genres.

Thank you for these suggestions. Any Maori music tips?
