New South Wales Floods - where to avoid
 

We have been reading of the terrible flooding affecting parts of NSW. We arrive in Sydney at the beginning of September and I appreciate that a lot can happen between now and then, but I wondered if there are any areas best avoided. Most of the time we will be in Sydney but we have allocated 10 days for a road trip to the north or south. Still undecided decide exactly where as ye, and son has suggested we stay flexible.
Any thoughts or opinions would be much appreciated.

There is no flooding around Sydney now.
I doubt you would encounter any floodwaters within the areas you are likely to be visiting.
