Motorcylcles in Australia

I am going to Australia sometime in the first three months of this year. I will be there for 3 weeks riding a motorcycle. I like 2 lane paved (sealed) roads that go through rural areas. Coastal routes are nice but barren desert areas are also desired. Temperatures of 80 to 90 degrees are ideal, but under 70 for a high is too cold and over 95 everyday is a little hot. I don't want to backtrack over the same route so I can ship the bike back or take a loop. Heavy insect infestation is also a negative on a bike. I like to ride through small towns, stay at real cheap motels, drink beer in pubs, and visit local people. The total trip should be less than 6,000 miles and it has to start at an urban area where I can pick up the bike. Any suggestions of a route? Thanks in advance.

Is this posting for real?

Yep got the lot:
Sydney up the coast to Cairns returning down to Townsville out to Mt Isa and down though the outback of longreach though to the Carnarvon Gorge, Injune, Roma, Toowoomba and head down via the New England Tableland back to Sydney taking the route from Armidale to Uralla and then through to Glosester north of the Hunter Valley en route to Sydney. However may I suggest that you do this before May or after September to comply with your temperature requests. Insects will be out of your way if you give them notice of your arrival.

tropo, he likes to do some of the things you do. e.g. visit pubs and stay in cheap rural bed and breakfasts.

Who the hell is General Max?
When I first read this posting by Askal, I thought, "is this message for real?" and I guess its not.
To who ever this person General---- is, I happen to like expensive wine, and I generally stay in 5 star hotels, whenever I can afford it.
