More earthquakes in Christchurch today
|
My husband felt the main aftershock all the way down in Dunedin.
He sent me this link below (so scary). As a Californian, I have lived with earthquakes all my life, but you never get used to them, the minutes you must wait until the shaking stops seem like an eternity. I am sure the people of Christchurch will persevere. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/vi...lery_id=123226 |
My sincere thoughts go out to all of Christchurch - such a horrible thing to happen again. It seems even worse just two days before Christmas . I wish there was something we could do. We are thinking of you!
|
We thought (were hoping) that we were through with the damned things. This has been a really depressing day.

So sorry, Rob, saw that report on news earlier, and just thought "not again" You must be so over it.
|
Always darkest before the dawn my prayers are with you...
|
Still going. We have had almost 60 in the last 18 hours.

I cringed when I read about the EQ in Christchurch although I was relieved to read not one person was killed or injured. I so hope that is true! But having lived in Northern California all of my life I sure know how EQ after EQ can certainly affect peoples nerves and of course there is also the economic disaster.
My thoughts are with all of you. |
