Matilda / Majistic Harbour cruises - Sydney

Hi all,
Does anyone have any experience of either of these - or can you suggest another good one? Have Canadian visitors (early 60's) coming in January and they'd like to do one.
Many thanks

I am not a fan of harbour cruises but..

I believe the aussie 1 cat operated by matilda is "top of the line".Take the sunset cruise which goes up to vaucluse and potters back under the genoa with the nor easter into the sunset.

If you're only going for coffee and to view the harbour then they are OK.

For a alternative cruise I would recommend one of the tall ships instead, much more atmosphere, smaller groups and the if you've never been on a tall ship then that is an experience you won't forget.

We did the Bounty but I don't think they will be operating harbour cruises in January but you could do a web search and see. You can try www.svanen.com.au for their itineraries for Jan and also the James Craig.

Thanks so much BlueGum & Johhj. I had forgotten about the James Craig which is really dumb as I sailed up to Newcastle on her and it was great.
The catamaran sounds great, too. I just didn't want them to get stuck with the "tourist package".

Will check with my friends to see what they'd like.

Thanks again - much appreciated.
