maldives, mauritius, new caledonia, seychelles, or tahiti

we have free nights at starwood properties at Sheraton maldives, Le meridien mauritius, le meridien new caledonia, seychelles or tahiti. Which islands is the most scenic with good snorkeling?
Food and culture coming in second.
for reference we have been to st. thomas, st john, st maartin, aruba, curacao ,all of the islands of hawaii,, cancun, pipi islands in Thailand, bali, Langkawi in Malaysia,,, in another word alot of island vacation, out of them all we enjoyed the st john trip we took in '81 back then snorkeling and the coral reefs were pristine,
It will be nice if the hotel is also magnificient.

There are two Meridiens in New Caledonia: one in the city of Noumea, and the other on Ile des Pins. The one on Ile des Pins has good snorkeling. New Caledonia has the second largest barrier reef in the world; the scuba diving off Ile des Pins is superb, yes--pristine. Depending on the time of year, you might need a shortie wetsuit, which you can rent there or bring along with you.
You can see an aerial photo of Le Meridien Ile des Pins here:

It is a gorgeous property, a relaxing place, serene.

Seems you are not too concerned about the costs of airfares, or the costs of meals.

I visited St. John in 1990 and also found its coral beautiful. You might not have read about the massive coral die-off of 2005, 60 percent of the Virgin Islands' coral was subject to bleaching:

It is increasingly difficult to find a healthy reef.

Le Meridien Tahiti are my fav for food vibe beauty

cheaper air connexions too usually cheapoair.com

As an SPG.com usually get free upgrades to best available

usually a suite if I am nice about it unless they are 100%

booked but sometimes if the staff does not know this I

have to ask to speak to the manager.

Snorkel a bit more pristine in the Seychelles isoalated though

Happy Deciding!
