Looking for Sydney apartment hotels in Eastern suburbs
 

First thanks to all the posters..a wealth of information! My husband, 17 yr.old son and I are coming to Oz in March to visit our daughter attending Univ NSW fall semester. She will be living in Coogee and we are looking for a 1 or 2 bdrm apt. nearby. Does anyone have a recommendation for the Medina Classic Randwick or Coogee Sands Hotel and Apts?? Looking for clean but economy priced accom. so as to have more $$ left to "experience" all Oz has to offer. BTW, any other ideas for itinerary welcomed. We'll be in Sydney on March 2 and return to LA on March 17th. Plan to do GBR for sure but day(s) trips from Sydney while daughter's in class would be considered. Lynn,<BR>I have never stayed at the Medina Coogee myself but have several friends who have and were very happy with it.<BR>Good clean comfortable accomodation and very pleasant atmosphere.<BR>There are several other Medina properties in the Eastern Sububrbs, but obviously the Coogee one will be the best for you.

We also had friends stay at the Medina Aparts in Coogee recently and they were very happy with it.

Prue and Matt: THanks for your replys. Just to clarify, you both referred to Medina at &quot;Coogee&quot;, is this the same place as Medina Classic Randwick?? I'm sorry to question but since I definitely don't know the area I just want to make sure..?? Also, are there any websites that list phone numbers? I want to call the hotels direct as some posters suggest but wotif doesn't list. (unless I just missed it!) Thanks again for your help, I really appreciate the feedback. Lynn
