Lizard Island Resort
 

Any thoughts, recommendations about Lizard Island Resort? Expensive but looks beautiful..is it worth the $$$?

We went to Lizard Island in July and had an amazing time. The staff was incredible - very attentive but not annoyingly so. Lizard Island was definitely a splurge for us but it was worth every penny. Having the private beaches, the picnics, the snorkeling and the fantastic rooms made for a great end to our vacation. We stayed in room 39 which is a little farther away from the other rooms which we liked a lot.

we too felt it was a splurge but worth every penny. Food was great as well as the service. Be sure and go on the dive/snorkeling trip, it's amazing. Also go out on the little boats with packed lunch you order from a menu the day before. We walked the grounds looking for the perfect room location and they all seemed equal. Very, very nice experience. We want to return. We've been to Tahiti several times and the snorkeling/diving was the best here.
