To Debbie, Thanks for the good wishes for our trip. Will let you know how it goes. After we arrive in Tahiti we continue on the next day and fly to the Marquesas Islands (about a 3 and 1/2 hr. flight from Papeete) for the bulk of our vacation and then return to Moorea for 4 days before returning home. Haven't been able to get any feedback about the Marquesas(would like to) so I guess not many people go there. They do have The Pearl Beach Resorts on 2 of the islands we will be on but they can only accommodate a small group of people at one time. Should be great .

DJ, we flew Business Class on Air Tahiti Nui in June when we went to French Polynesia for a cruise on the Paul Gauguin. We were very impressed with the food and service. The planes are really nice and there were several current movies to choose from. I'm sure you will have a fabulous trip!

To Sue, Glad you enjoyed the Paul Gaugain. We were considering one of their 14 day cruises (once a year) that included the Marquesas Islands as well, however we couldn't get a balcony room on the ship so decided to stay on the islands instead and also on Moorea. Should be a good trip.
