Hotels in Noosa Heads, Queensland
 

My wife and I are heading to Noosa Heads in October and want to stay at a nice place on the beach, preferably with surfing in front of the hotel. Please let me know if you we recommend anything. We were looking at the French Quarter<BR><BR>Thanks-Trevor

Have a look at www.whatif.com and look for accomodation on Qld's Sunshine Coast. Great time of year there.

Search under www.accomnoosa.com.au and click on the button marked "Hastings Street". This is the main street that runs parallel with the beach. Some of those liste are not on the beach itself, but across the street. This is the case with the French Quarter. <BR><BR>However, it is still a very nice place, and just a short walk to the beach.<BR><BR>I don't know what your budget is like, but the places directly fronting the beach are pretty expensive. <BR><BR>One is the Netanya. Website is www.netanyanoosa.com <BR><BR>Noosa is great fun for a holiday. We had a lovely little apartment on a canal away from the beach, but a short walk to the surf, which we loved.

If you wish to surf in front of your hotel, it won't be in Noosa Heads. Best to stay at Sunshine or Sunrise beaches which are close to Noosa Heads. They are also more reasonably priced than Hastings St. There is a popular surfing area near Hastings St but you have to walk thru the National Park to get to it.
