Hotel Rate Type..Please help!

I just booked a hotel in Sydney (York Apartment Hotel) through their web site and realised I had chosen "Special Nett n Non Comm" as my rate. Does anyone know what this means?? There didn't seem to be any particular strings attached but it was slightly cheaper than "Today's Rate" and a lot cheaper than "Rack Rate". It's all a bit confusing! Thanks

Have no idea what your rate notation means, but we stayed at the York in 2006 and really liked it. Be sure to check out the pool on the 6th floor; we didn't discover it until our last day there. There's a supermarket in the basement of Wynyard station nearby.

By the way, check out rates for the York at wotif.com. When I booked directly, the York matched the wotif rate.

I'm guessing here, but 'nett' usually means tax inclusive, and 'non comm' usually means non commissionable, meaning if a travel agent books that rate they earn no commission.

Thank-you. It sounds as if it should be ok. Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay there Betsy and thanks for the tip.
