Hilton Honors
 

We're planning a trip to Sydney, Gold Coast, and Port Douglas in March. Can anyone recommend a Hilton honors hotel in any or all of those areas? It can be a Hilton, Hampton, or Doubletree.

I don't know what you mean by Hilton "Honors"
There is a Hilton in Sydney and on the Gold Coast - which is a Casino but that is all I know about them. Perhaps you could do a search for whatever specifics you need.

Just to let you know that at present there are no Hilton Hotels in Sydney as the one in the city is undergoing major re-building and the Airport Hilton is now owned by Accor.

Yep - Sydney is Hilton-free at present.
I've never heard of the others here, either!

I actually made a Hilton Hhonors reservation for the Grace Hotel on York Street in SYD. It does not appear anywhere on the Hilton website but when I called Hilton Hhonors they offered it to me. It is a level 3 hotel so 25K Hilton Hhonor points for a one night stay. Hope this helps you.

Hi - there's no Hilton in Port Douglas but there is in Cairns (on waterfront) - it's very attractive with hanging gardens off all levels, but don't know it's Honors rating (if any).

Thanks Pat, I'll try that one right away. Being a member of the Hilton Honors program is like having frequent flier miles, i.e. you get free rooms for points gathered from staying at Hilton Hotels.

I have a reservation using points at the Hilton in Cairns for April 2004- 25K per night, no point strecher dates.
