Cindy, I can highly recommend Hibiscus Garden. www.hibiscusportdouglas.com.au The staff was extrememly helpful, and the apartments were furnished nicely in a balinese style. Nothing luxurious, but totally a great deal for some great living space. It's a 5 minute walk to the Marina, and a two minute walk to the beach or the main street. I paid $130 AUD for a one bedroom. There are TV's, CD players, and hairdryers in the room

We also stayed at Hibiscus Gardens. It was within walking distance to the beach, the marina, and downtown. They helped us with snorkeling reservations--try Poseidon, it was GREAT! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Beautiful place to stay. They are on the internet--www.hibiscusportdouglas.com.au
