Help with a song title Please!
I sorted all my iTunes on the weekend and I have a double cd called Jazz in the City and all the songs are as they should be except for one which is listed as Celine Dion singing Nature Boy - however, it is definitely not Celine Dion (which for me, is a good thing). So these are the lyrics
It’s a lovely day for going nowhere It’s a lovely day for being in love It’s a lovely day Feel like chasing the clouds away To a perfect place I’m dreaming of It’s a lovely day for going nowhere And nowhere is the place I’m dreaming of Cause it really don’t matter If it rains or shines The weather don’t matter at all The only thing to say is it’s a lovely day At the beginning of the song it's like they are just 'jamming' and the girl speaks and a guy answers and says right let's go with that and they are both Australian voices. Then they get into the song from the beginning. If I can start with a song title I might be able to track the singer down. I've posted on the Lounge but I thought I'd try here amongst my Aussie mates who might have an idea. I've tried everything I can with the lyrics as far as searching goes now I don't know what else to do. Cheers Stormbird |
Oh just to add - I have tried Shazam -ing it but it doesn't recognise it either.

Try it on the Lounge, Stormbird. Someone over there is sure to know.

Oops! Should have engaged brain & looked before putting fingers into gear ;)

This song is sung by Amber Claire, and produced by Don McGlashen. They are New Zealanders, not australians. Don and Amber are the voices talking. It's called "It's a Lovely Day".
