Happy New Year
 

I just wanted to wish all of my Fodor friends a very Happy New Year and hope that 2011 is prosperous and happy for you.

We celebrated the new year in over the border in northern New South Wales so as it is on daylight saving time we celebrated the occasion twice - once on NSW time and then an hour later on Qld time.

2010 was a tough year for the industry we work in so I am moving forward into 2011 with high hopes that things will improve for us this year.

I do hope the year ahead is prosperous and happy for you and your family.

HNY to you all as well. I had to write the date for the first time this year today -- 3/1/11. Seems a bit strange. Soon be Easter, though, then Queen's Birthday, Labour Weekend and Christmas again. The year's almost shot to hell really.
