Halls Gap Accommodations
 

I've looked at a number of websites for places to stay in Halls Gap, and was wondering if anyone had a particular recommendation about any place? We're just going to be one night in the area, looking for a comfortable hotel, motel or B&B (and if there are animals that frequent the area, that would be a bonus). Thanks, Sharon

Hi Sharon,
Halls Gap is full of Accommodation. As you drive along the main street you nearly see nothing else :-) There are many Motels and Resorts that have from 3 to 5 star Cabins.

I usually stay a little out of town at the Lakeside Caravan Park at the south end of town:

There are plenty of Kangaroos and Birds, mainly various parrots all over the grounds.
Should your time there fall on a long weekend or during School Holidays then early reservations are essential.

thanks, mike. How do we find out when the school holidays are? we will be in this area around the end of september, beginning of October, 2007. Is there school calendar website (there seems to be one for everything else....) Thanks,

and according to the info there you maybe right in the middle of it....
Vic. School Holiday from Sept. 22nd to Oct. 7th.
South Australian School Holidays ( many people from SA visit the Grampians ) are from Sept. 29th to Oct.14th.
