Great Ocean Road

Great Ocean Road- I get the feeling this part of Victoria is very much like the coast of Cornwall in England. True or False.

<BR>Thank you Paul and John for info.Intend visiting there in March. Have heard quite a lot about it, also read quite a bit on the area. By the way John the coast of Cornwall can be superb (provided you get the weather). Cheers.

Great Ocean Road is lovely - I like Apollo Bay best as a place to stay overnight along the way - a real working fishing town. Description: Halfway between the glories of California's Highway One thru Big Sur (our road has fewer steep cliffs) and the bucolic pleasures of the Cape Breton road in Nova Scotia. A must when you come to Victoria.

I am leaving for Melbourne soon; can you tell me 2 things: how long is the Great Ocean Road, and are there other things Not to Be Missed in Melbourne? Will be there for a week. Thank you, Debbie
