GREAT BARRIER REEF INFORMATION - ITS A START

Here is a link for anyone interested in the GBR and/or any of the islands in and around that area. I am not suggesting that you book with this company but it is a start for you to being doing some research on what may be available and you can search from there. Then perhaps come back and ask specific questions. http://www.great-barrier-reef.com/

PS sorry about the above " being doing" bit of ungrammatical clap trap - I really should proof read what I write.

A good start. Of course anyone interested should be aware that this website pertains only to the northern part of the GBR and there are indeed a number of other islands and locations to consider that are still part of the GBR but are not included here.

Sigh. The quality of free help just isn't what it used to be, Liz.;)

True enough, Ralph. Hopefully the reader will look at the left hand side of the screen of the website that Liz provided, and notice the many links to other parts of Australia, including the one to Queensland's islands, which brings one to this URL:

http://www.queenslandislands.com/

AND you can check out the other web-site that I put on yesterday which gives just about everything anyone could want. Bye the way Ralph do you work for P&O? Their reputation is somewhat in tatters here at present seeing that they seem to continue to have problems with their cruise liners.

Despite the links to Queensland Islands etc, this website is still deceptive in that it implies Northern Qld is THE Great Barrier Reef. Some people would not realize that the link to Queensland islands has anything to do with the GBR. Questions that are posed on this board often reveal this sort of unfamiliarity with Australian geography and this site just enforces that.
