Goa, India. Have you been there?
 

My wife and I have read a little about the beauty of Goa on the east coast of India. India is not our first preference for a holiday, but the article suggested that there were places to stay that were grand, secluded, with amazing views and food. Can anyone help with personal experiences?

in goa I've stayed in Colva Beach four years ago.the beach was superb and the local restaurants on the beach were great.seafood was very good and cheap.
all goa was very beautiful.you can hire a motorbike or a taxi to visit the region.asa place to stay I can suggest Colmar Hotel in Colva beach.it has basic but clean rooms with shower,fan.it also has bungalows in its nice garden.as I remember it was very cheap for something like 10 dollars per day.it is a family run place.Ýt was a nice place four years ago.good luck for your trip

Goa is great, but be aware that the temperature is quite high after February. If you haven't been to India before, its a good place to start.

we went to Goa several years ago and loved it,would certainly go again.We mainly went there to relax after a trip to Bombay but there is still loads to do..We stayed at the Cidade de Goa in Vainguinim Beach..Really nice hotel with very friendly staff and a great beach but a bit away from anything else so found ourselves staying in the hotel most evenings...Have a nice time if you do decide to go,you won't be disappointed...Oh by the way..Chinese food is great in Goa!!!
