Has anyone been on the Reef Endeavor Cruise recently? Can you recommend a good cruise of the reef? Are day trips better?

Try a search on this site for just that ' Great Barrier Reef Cruise' and see what others have said because it really depends on where on the reef you are going to be - its 1,200 miles long. Also for how long you want the cruise to be, whether its one way or there and back and at what time of year you are thinking of going. There is a great cruise from Cairns to the tip of Cape York which calls in at islands and nice bits of the coast and you can either fly back down or come back via 4 wheel drive vehicle and make that an adventure too.
Check what others had to say and then search for those particular cruises - there are so many.

do a search for "Captain Cook cruises" and you will get several hits. I am thinking of taking this also, so I posted a question and got a few responses, and did others. It sounds good. when are you thinking of going?

I sailed with The Sydney Sundancer in Oct. '98 for 5 days. It was AWESOME. Great host, gourmet food (I kid you not) and fabulous scenery.

Check it out at:

www.luxuryyacht.com.au/holidays/holidays.htm
