Flights to Australia

I am looking for a cheap way to get down to oz this summer... I will be leaving at the end of June and returning at the end of July. I am departing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Does anyone know any good websites or airlines that has some cheap flights?

Cheers!

Have a look at the thread on this board labelled: "Flights to Australia," LizzyF has some advice there for cheap flights.

Not too many people are aware of www.airpacific.com. You would fly (certain days of the week) from LAX to Fiji (NAD) and then on to Sydney or Melbourne. Often, they are the cheapest.

Otherwise, go to www.qantas.com and look for Internet specials.

United sometimes has good prices.

Visit www.kayak.com to check all sites.

They check 500 different airlines and you can book worldwide from any country.

Try Priceline or Expedia for a cheap flight from Calgary to Hawaii and then look at www.jetstar.com which is the budget airline of Qantas for a Hawaii to Australia fare - if they are having a sale this could be a great way of getting a cheap fare - the other World airline sites only check complete flights from A - B and not a combination which sometimes can take a lot off the cost.
