Fiji liquor regs

I understand drink prices are pretty high
at the resorts. Wondered if anyone knew
how much one was allowed to bring in with them.

When we were at Tokoriki Island Resort, the prices weren't high at all. When I got back home and got my credit card statement, I was surprised and wished we had more drinks while we were there. I can't remember what the prices were, but the exchange rate was great between the Fijian and US dollars.

I agree with Teresa, if you're from the US - the prices are very low, but we bought some champagne and wine in the duty free shop on the way to Fiji - and in the evenings we would have a glass in our rooms (we were with friends). We were at the Sheraton - and I thought prices were pretty reasonable....

2 liters of liquor, 4 liters of wine or beer - or a combination of both. Should be fine for your own consumption, although if the drink prices are high, I don't think you'll be happy with the rest. Fiji is relatively inexpensive so if anything is "pretty high" something is wrong.

I've stayed at both Matamanoa and Malolo and both places had reasonably priced drinks. Everything was on our credit card so we got a very good exchange rate on the USD. Also, some of the Fijian liquors are quite tasty. The Bounty run is strong and makes a nice drink. The fiji bitter beer is quite nice on a warm day. Fiji baby!
Enjoy!
