Does Haymen Island ever have standby rates?

We are wondering if Haymen Island ever posts standby rates if you are up at Airley's Beach or on a website?

I very much doubt it considering the write up I saw today in a news piece where it is now the 'in' place to go for the rich and famous.

Yes they do. Usually it's for the same night or the next, and I've only been able to get it from the booking places at Airlie Beach. There are about 3 booking places on the main drag in Airlie, and the rates have been as low as $150AUDpp for a night (regular room rates can be up to $750, not including the fancy shmancy rooms).

Good luck!

Are you saying you have to be at Airlie Beach before you can get these rates?

Yup...have to book it from Airlie, can't do it on the phone.
