convenient hotel near Auckland Airport
 

Hi

We are looking for suggestions for a convenient hotel to spend overnight connecting from Dunedin enroute back home to Honolulu. We'd like it to be close to the airport, hopefully with a shuttle that will pick up in the PM and return to the airport in AM.

There's none right in airport precinct itself unless one has gone up recently but a couple of kilometres up main airport to Auckland road at first lights controlled intersection from memory, there's a large one, possibly Crand Chancellor, and nearby nearly opposite is a cheaper more motel type place, a couple more about including www.skywaylodge.co.nz that runs from backpacker to motel units.
