Coffs Harbour

We are spending a week in Coffs Harbour in mid November. Any suggestions of things to do and see?

There are three of us, my husband, myself and our 21 year old daughter. She is a Marine Biology major at Deakin in Warrnambool and we are coming to visit her. We have a place to stay in Coffs Harbour, just trying to plan our itinerary. Mostly interested in seeing flora and fauna, just the general countryside marine and otherwise.

Take a drive to Bellingen (nice old fashioned town with lots of eating places) and Dorrigo. Visit the Dorrigo National Park and walk along the Skywalk through the tops of the trees.

Many viewpoints around and the gum trees are beautiful. Buxter Drive (think that is how you spell it) goes up and then down the back side through a gum tree forest and farm lands. Drive up to Emerald Beach and take the walk around the headlands. Lovely with kangaroos everywhere. Woolgoolga (Woopi) has a beautiful overlook as well, but not the walk.
