Club Bali Hai Moorea
 

Has anyone been to the Club Bali Hai. Thanks for any info.

We didn't stay there but I over heard some other couple say it was awful. We stay at the Sofitel and recieved bad service, we were bumped to another hotel along with 15-20 other couples. We had several bad experiences in Moorea but we loved Bora Bora. In Bora Bora we also stayed at the Sofitel (Marara). Everything was wonderful.

We stayed at the Club Bali Hai and it was AWFUL! I don't want to go into detail here but if you contact me directly I'll fill you in.

We stayed at the Bali Hai in the spring and found it just fine. It is an older resort but the facilities we had were clean and comfortable. Found the food to be very good and the employees very nice. For the price we paid we were happy.

How you enjoy your stay would depend on your expectations. It is not 5 star but is clean and comfortable, and you can use the local transport Le Truck to get around. The Moorea Beach Club is similar price and standard, but IMHO is better located because of the beach and if you want to have a choice of 'inexpensive' places to eat. <BR>Peg.
