Clothes to wear, temperatures in February?

My mom and I are going to Australia and will stay in Sydney in Darling Harbour, then going to Noosa Sound in February.

What kind of clothes to bring and wear and the temperatures to cope with at that time of year?

february should still be pretty warm in sydney, probably in the 80's (F), probably the same in noosa head, although it'll be the wet season there.
make sure you bring clothes that you can layer. we were there in january and who knew it could get down to the mid 50's in sydney & the blue mountains?

Thanks so much for the information as I wasn't sure how heat or cool it would get.
We are going to make arrangements when we arrive to go on a day tour to Blue Mountains.
Okay, I will bring layers like you suggested with me.

When layers were suggested I think that a cardigan would be sufficient. It will not be cold in Noosa - probably around 28 - 30 during the day and about 18 - 22Celcius at night. Sydney will be about the same less a degree or so. I would bring a rain jacket which can double as cooler weather wear but most of your time in Queensland will be in a bikini and thongs.

Hi

I Live in Sydney and can tell you that this year February was scorching hot! You will need to bring maybe one cardigan. Noosa will probably be similar if not warmer, but you have a sea breeze there.
