Car rental to Westport?
 

My wife and I have to catch a flight out of Westport. We will be traveling from Franz Josef to Westport. Unfortunately we cannot find a car rental with a drop off location in Westport. We'd prefer to drive so that we can stop along the way. Does anybody know of a car rental that we can pick up in Franz Josef and drop off in Westport?

ARE NO CAR RENTAL AGENCIES IN FRANZ JOSEF.

You will have to book a shuttle or take the bus.

We're actually starting out in Greymouth. So we're looking for a car rental pickup in Greymouth (from the train station) and then drop off in Westport. Anything in Greymouth that might let up drop off in Westport? Thanks.

I would try Budget. They seem to have the widest network of offices in my experience, also check Hertz and Avis.

I checked all three, only Avis has locations listed for both Greymouth and Westport. Whether they will let you do a one way return, I'm not sure, but they may allow it with a relocation fee even if you can't book it on their website.
