Cairns-Melbourne or Melbourne Cains
Hey!
My friend and I are going to Australia 5. October for working holiday. Our plan is to work for about a month if possible and then go travel through east coast from nov-dec. We don't know if we should travel from Cairns to Melbourne or Melbourne to Cairns. We've heard it's not so warm in October (about 17 degrees celsius or so ) in Melbourne and we really want to stay where it's warm, so that's why we though we might start from Cairns. I have heard too if we start from Melbourne to Cairns it would be too warm there in dec.. So what do you guys think? I have done some researches on where to travel in East Coast. But if you have any recommendations on where to go, I would be glad to hear about them. - Linda :))) |
Are you Australian citizens? If not, do you currently have or will you be applying for the appropriate Work Visa's? If not your plan of "working for a month is not feasible.

What does this mean? Are you writing your books while traveling? Doing blog posts/Web content business? Or are you actually trying to find work with Australian employers during that time period? If the last, RoamsAround is correct and you do NOT want to mess with Aussie work-eligibility requirements (the guess is you're not an Aussie and neither is your friend). |
No I'm from Faroe Islands and I've got Working Holiday Visa for 12 months, which means you can work and stay on Australia for these 12 months. So our plan is to work (we are going to find work when we're there) maybe farm work for 1 month and then travel as I said.
