Bure conditions in Octopus& Navalo
 

Will be first time staying in a Bure. It will be the private deluxe ones. How are the sleeping conditions? I will be there in mid- November. Will it be very hot at night? Are the beds pretty comfortiable? I am not expecting the Hilton of course.

Sorry Ive never heard of Navolo, however I know Octopus' bures have a queen bed, it's quite comfy, a couple of chairs, a coffee table & a wardrobe. The shower is attached but open air and the toilet is a normal western toilet inside. There was a ceiling fan and no air cond when we stayed 2 years ago. You are out in the ocean. Nights can be quite cool, days glorious, water temps around 22 degrees. Stop worrying. Octopus is amongst the best budget accom & food in the Yasawas. Don't expect the Hilton, and you'll be fine. Do take mosquite repellent, just in case. Take sunscreen & hats. The food is great and organise a beach dinner when you get there or by email, prior. Have fun & relax!

Just found out the deluxe f bures are booked, but the oceon view are available. We are booking them.

Navalo is right nera Oarsmans in Nacula.

Mike, the people who work at Octopus are great fun. Be sure to share conversation with the lovely Fijian staff. They are a great bunch of people. Get used to Fiji time! No-one hurries or worries so it can be a bit frustrating until you relax and go with the flow! Have a wonderful trip and be sure to post a trip report! All the best.
