Budget Golf at Moore Park Sydney
I am on a Budget Rant re Sydney.
This is my Number 1 Moore Golf course is a fantastic golf course in the heart of Sydney. The green fees are ridiculously cheap at about $50. But be aware that if you have to rent clubs ,it will cost about $50. The last time we were in Sydney, I bought clubs at a boot sale for $30 and they worked.I played twice a week for a month. If you are a golfer, and are going to be in Sydney for a while, .... buy some clubs and play Moore Golf a couple of times a week. Try eBay or the Weekly Trading Post I am not a serious golfer, but Moore Park was a gift. But beware!!!LOL....don't ever walk into the Bar wearing a cap- I was asked to leave, when I sat down with a cap on my head. |
I think you will find it is actually Moore Park Golf Club or further along the road The Australian Golf Club.

guaranteed - what are you up to?
A Budget Rant re Sydney for whom? For overseas visitors? Must send your comments re Moore Park Golf Course to my overseas golfing family members. It might raise a chuckle. |
afterall,
Get used to a new generation of North Americans coming over to Sydney! We are not the rich Americans coming over to Sydney for the past decade,, who think price is not a problem. There will be not be many Americans coming over to Sydney this year because of the Real Estate melt down this year. Moore Park is an okay course, it is cheap, and it may be all the average American can afford. Get used to the New Reality. Americans are not the spenders they once were. Send my comments to your "overseas golfing family members" BBWWWHHHAAAA. Tell that if they want to get on a course in Sydney, without being bothered by North Americans, then this is the year. |
"BBWWWHHHAAAA" As you seem to favour this as an addition to your posts, perhaps you could give us a translation, so we could enjoy/laugh/learn from it too, Guaranteed.

Well there I was thinking Guaranteed was a local. Seems he/she is an American who knows more about Australia than Australians.
But then (forgive the golfing allusion) that's par for the course. You see they do. What most of the people who post here are after is not information they couldn't get elsewhere; what they want is reinforcement from people like them (ie other Americans). As for Guaranteed - what did he/she say? "Get used to a new generation of North Americans coming over to Sydney!. Really? And will that new generation have the faintest idea of where they are coming to? And where will they stay? Oh, the usual $200+ places. Guaranteed - you really haven't the faintest idea. I'd day you were totally clueless. |
Moore Park is the best inner city golf club, on earth, for $50. in my opinin.
thanks to the Complete Anal who pointed out that I meant "Moore Park Golf Course'. What a joke - must be Brit! BBBWWWHHAAAAAAAA. btw, BBBWWWHHHAAAAA translates into "a Canadian looking forward to spending a Month in Sydney". BBBWWWWHHHAAAAAAA Dump on me . I don't care. |
No not an annal Brit but an annal Australian!

- Still at it, I see, afterall. You have no rational basis for your embittered animosity towards the Americans who post here, and Americans generally. I'll tell you something about the great majority of Americans: they could give you a lesson in politeness and good manners. But then, so could most of the Australians who post here, not to mention the Canadians. |
