Hello Mark. You say you are looking for something in the $ 250-300 price range. Are you talking per day or per week. If per day I could think of a lot better places than a Brisbane caravan park. If per week investigate apartments on the Gold Coast. November is not yet school holidays so is not high season although the weather is good and there is more for the kids in that area than Brisbane. Let us know what you are looking for and we might be able to help further.
No Greg, you are not asking for too much. Aspley is a northern suburb of Brisbane and while it is nice enough, I cannot understand why you would really want to stay there. It is not the Gold coast, Sunshine coast and you are not in easy travelling distance to the Brisbane CBD. As Kerry said it is not school holidays so I would go for either coast or there are some nice budget hotels between the airport and the city.

David

For $250- $300 per week on the Gold Coast, you are probably looking at an older style apartment, a few blocks back from the beach.
You could try the Queensland tourist office site at www.queensland-holidays.com.au/ which has info on the area and a range of accommodation options, although mostly for the more expensive places.
Your best bet might be to contact a few of the local real estate agencies that do holiday lettings for budget apartments. You could maybe try seaching for local agents at www.yellowpages.com.au
