Bora Bora weather in February or April
Hello,
We are planning a trip to Bora Bora and could go either in mid Feb or mid April but having very hard time deciding between the two. Our main concern is weather. I know that Feb is in the middle of rainy season. Even if it rains briefly, days might be mostly cloudy with little sun on the other hand, mid April is supposed to have better weather but is a lot more expensive (a difference of 2K to 3K USD). I am not sure if it is more expensive in April due to better weather or because of time of the year (spring break perhaps). Was hoping to get some feedback on this from fellow Fodorites.

If you check general weather statistics (go to Travel Weather Averages (Weatherbase) and click your way to French Polynesia then Bora Bora) you’ll find there really isn’t a significant difference in weather for February vs. April.
For what it is worth, we visited Bora Bora in February and had perfect weather.
