Book Recommendation?
What was the most useful book you bought when planning your NZ trip and once you were there?
|
We used Lonely Planet NZ and found it great.
|
I checked out Fodor's, Frommer's, Lonely Planet, Let's Go, and the Rough Guide from the library before we went and read them all.
We ended up buying the Frommer's guide and taking it along. Lee Ann |
I'm a big fan of Lonely Planet guides -we used Lonely Planet NZ for planning our first couple of trips to NZ, then bought the LP Tramping in NZ guide as well.
These days I rely on the Internet more than anything - there's some great info online. |
Hello,
You may find the following book useful in planning your trip to New Zealand. It is called "Around New Zealand by Bus" by C.V.Proctor. It contains much useful information. Happy travels. |
I always purchase and take with me to anywhere we travel the very latest edition of Lonely Planet. I also buy on Amazon or at HalfPrice Books used copies of Frommers, Fodor's, and sometimes Baedeker books to read but I don't take them with me. I have tried others but don't even bother to buy used ones any more.

I borrow Lonely Planet, Frommers, Fodors from the library and copy the sections most useful. Took the Eyewitness New Zealand guidebook.
