Bondi Beachside Inn

Has anyone stayed at the Bondi Beachside Inn in Sydney? It was recommended in a magazine, but we don't have any first-hand information about it. Would appreciate your opinions. Thanks.

Faith,
I have never stayed there but according to my accomodation guide it has 67 rooms, en-suites, air con, and secure parking if you have a car. It is located in Campbell Parade which is very close to the beach and a myriad of restaurants, bars etc.
Hopefully you will find someone that has actually stayed there.

Thanks for your quick response, Prue -- hopefully someone that has stayed there will see this, too.

Still looking for anyone that might have stayed at the Bondi Beachside Inn in Sydney -- saw an old message (1999) from some young party people that didn't like it, but we're almost 70, so perhaps we'd see it differently?? Or does anyone have another suggestion for a place to stay near a beach, that people of our age would enjoy?

Thanks.

Faith,

I haven't stayed there, but I found their webpage for you if you'd like to look at it. It looks like your basic motel on the beach.

http://www.pnc.com.au/~bondiinn/content.html

I am about to go on a trip which includes Sydney myself (live half the year in Oz) and we're going to be staying on the beach but haven't booked yet, will probably book off www.wotif.com. Have had good results with them before.

Regards,
Jen
