Blue mountain Or Daintree in July

We love scenic drives and natural green beauty , like waterfalls and cable rides showing you the beautiful nature. We re active and can take some trails

We are visiting Sydney and Cairns in July and have 2 extra days which we would like to spend either in Blue mountin or Daintree

Pls suggest the pros and cons for both

You can work out the pros & cons for yourself by having a look at the websites - my choice would be the Daintree.

Or - go beyond the Blue Mountains to the Central West ( Orange, Canowindra, Mudgee).

It's mid winter. Warmer in the north.

July is winter in Sydney or the dry season in the Daintree. The dry season is the best time to visit the Daintree. It is less humid and the daily maximum is 26 Celsius (80 Fahrenheit). it is a good time to go hiking or walking.

Winter is not a good time to visit the Blue Mountains. The average temperature in the upper Blue Mountains is 5 degrees Celsius It occasionally snows and frosty mornings are very common. The Blue Mountains has Yulefest pr Christmas in July. It is not a good time of year to go hiking in the Blue Mountains.

We are from a hot city, we do like winters though not freezing cold. We also like fogs and putting on a nice warm jacket would be fun for us though I know winters for too long may be a problem

Which would come out more scenic and beautiful to the eyes

Which has more beautiful sights? Waterfalls, maybe cable rides

Thanks

The Blue Mountains and Daintree both have waterfalls. The Daintree has rainforest and a long standing traditional culture.

The Blue Mountains has a scenic cable car. Cairns has a sky rail cablecar The Daintree has boardwalks.

It comes down to time of year and the weather in July is likely better for viewing scenery in the Daintree than the Blue Mountains. If you were going in the Australian summer, the Blue Mountains would be likely to have better weather than the Daintree.
