Best Hotel Accomodiations for GoldCoast
 

We are looking for hotels in the GoldCoast area and would like advice on a place to stay close to theme parks and beaches. WE want good service and clean hotels. Bshine

The Marriott Surfers Paradise is an excellent choice. Also, the Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove is good.

Do you have children? Budget?

Then my suggestion would be the Mecure. It is a very family focused 3 star hotel with probably the best kids club on the coast, large rooms, very reasonable prices, 500m walk to the beach, about 1km from the main shopping centre. Let me know by direct e-mail if you want numbers etc. The other 2 hotels mentioned here are also both excellent hotels .

Down the other end of the Gold Coast at Coolangatta is a brand new complex which has gained 4.5 rating. It has pool, apartments (not an hotel) and is called Bella Mare surf and safe beach on two sides and river on the other. Done with a Tuscan feel, and a lovely spot to stay.
