Ayers Rock Tours
Do the folks who give tours to Ayers Rock, etc., in the outback provide water bottles? Or should we bring our own? I have plenty since I'm a cyclist, so that wouldn't be a problem, but if they're provided, I wouldn't have to use up that space in my suitcase.
Thanks. |
I have a collapsable water bottle that I take along when hiking/biking. You should be able to find them in any good sporting goods store. I got mine online at http://www.walkabouttravelgear.com/health.htm. (I'm not affiliated with them in any way :)
We went to Uluru last August and were actually cold. Take plenty of water though - no matter what time of year, it's bone dry out there. |
HI Huskydog,
I don't know about you but I would prefer to drink from my own personal water bottle than one that may have been used by hundreds of people and not cleaned. Cheers Paul_S |
We went on a AAT tour to King Canyon & they provided a canteen, but it was nasty & tasted like chlorine. I'd say buy bottled water before you go on the tour.

Thanks y'all. I'll be bringing my own, and buying the water. :)

Hi
Why don't you buy a plastic water bottle in DownUnder and keep refilling it? Just a thought Have Fun in DownUnder Astrid http://www.australia-for-individuals.com |
