Hi there just a silly question<BR>does anyone no how much smokes are in Australia????

I don't recall the cost but I brought my own supply from home. Aus. is not very smoker friendly, be warned. No comments needed from antismokers, thank you!

They are about 50.00AUD a carton. I found Oz to be more smoker friendly than the US.

I was in Melbourne this time last year. Smokes were around $8.50AUD a pack. From what I remember all packs came in a box - no softpacks. The packs are bigger, too. I believe you can bring in 240 cigs - that's equal to a carton & 2 packs.<BR>I didn't find Melbourne to be so PC as we are in the US.

Cigarettes are now around $A9 per pack. In Victoria you may not smoke inside in any public space. This includes restaurants, clubs, bars etc. Most other states have similar laws. A lot of cafes etc now provide outdoor areas so you still enjoy your coffee and cigarette.
