Australian/NZ Tour suggestions

Has anyone had a particularly good (OR BAD)experience with any of the tour companies for Australia and New Zealand? There are so many, it's a jungle out there! Thanks for any recommendations.

I have used a small adventure company travel company out of San Francisco for the three trips I have made Down Under.

It is operated and owned by a Kiwi who knows what she is talking about. She can set you up with what ever you want to do. It is a more personal company from my experience calling around to check prices. The larger companies are just cubicle farms with people who sell pre-packaged scripts and don't seem to have a clue about things to do off the well worn path.

We had the most fabulous tour on south island from Christ church to Queenstown with Canturbury Trails tour. Brian Lucas, the owner is a young, handsome and accommodating host that will find you sights and trails you never can find
on your own. He tailors your tour according to your physical and cultural abilites and then shows you a great and relaxing time. Contact Brian at www.canterburytrails.co.nz or email [email protected] and tell him Deloris and Norb sent you! He only takes a max of 6 per vehicle and treats you in style.

Hello Tasha
We used a company called acrossnz.com which is New Zealand based and just fantastic
Mark organised everything for my wife and I at a price that was a lot cheaper than organising it ourselves. We also were booked in to places that we would never of found especially the Schoolhouse in Nelson and the Woodhouse in Taupo ( magical places)
They were professional and very quick with their responces.
I would totally recommend them
William Glide
