Australia TIME Difference

I'm the U.S. West Coast - what is the time difference to Australia and what is the flight time? Thanks!

Depends where in Australia. Time difference between here and Sydney is about 18 hours. They are ahead of us. Flight time between LA and Sydney is about 14 hours. Longer on the way back.

The east coast of Australia is currently 17 hours ahead of US Pacific time. Central Australia is 16 1/2 hours ahead and Western Australia is 15 hours ahead. Australia (except for Queensland, NT and WA) has Daylight Savings Time although the date the time changes is different than the US. They recently changed for summer and I think they switch back on Oct. 27th.
