Australia or Tahiti?

Please, help me.
I'm from brazil. I've been in Europe and USA, and I have 2 weeks and February and I don't know where I should go: Australia or Tahiti, Fiji, Bali
I like of everything: beaches and cities.
Thanks for anything.

Vania: Why not do both? Two weeks isn't very much time, but assuming you are flying from L.A., you could take a stopover in Tahiti for a few days, and then go on to Australia. In Tahiti, I would recommend you go to Moorea or Bora Bora. After that , you would probably have just enough time to have a good look around Sydney, and all it has to offer.

I think if you check out Qantas Airways/Lan Chili Airways from Santiago you will get a flight which goes via Tahiti and you can have a stop over there en route to Australia. Alternatively Qantas flies into Buenes Aires and there is sure to be a combination fare that is available for that. If you are looking at flying via LA you can fly with Air New Zealand via Tahiti as well and then fly into Sydney.
Australia is different from both the USA and Europe and so by doing both Tahiti and Sydney you could have quite a different holiday.
Hope this helps a bit for you.

Vania: If you can't do both, I would choose Australia, and in 2 weeks would probably stay around Sydney. It would be great for you to see the Great Barrier Reef, but in February it will still be very hot and humid in Northern Queensland. However, you are from Brazil, and might be used to those hot, and humid temps. Australia, for North Americans is also much cheaper than Tahiti because of the exchange rate with the Canadian, and especially the American dollar. You can definitely get more for your money in Australia. As you know, the everyday language in Tahiti is French, and in Australia, it is English. Maybe this will also help you make up your mind. They both have great beaches, but Australia has Sydney, one of the great cities of the world.
