Australia: Noosa and Daintree Rainforest

Any information regarding Noosa or Daintree Rainforest? Would December be a good time of year for visiting these places? Thanks for the help.

Don't know much about Noosa I'm afraid, but have been to the Daintree several times, on day trips and only in the southern summer months. In December it is wetter, with the monsson season normally beginning end of December - beginning of January. The Bloomfield Track on the north side of the Daintree River is unsealed apart from the beginning, very rough and (I believe) difficult for even off-road 4WD vehicles in the wet season. Having said that, it's well worth a visit!

Noosa is a great place to visit. I have been there several times including December/January period. The weather at that time of year is very hot and humid, but they dont get the rain till Feb/March.

we were in noosa and the Daintree last dec. Hot and humid. It is the rainy season but it was not that bad. We rented a 4-wheel drive to go to cape tribulation where some roads were washed out but it made for a cool day adventure. go for it...
