Australia & New Zealand in 10 days
BarbAnn, I saw your post about giving the two girls advice on doing Australia and New Zealand in limited time. We are two 28 year old friend really hoping to do both places knowing we are only going to get a taste of each but are totally ok with that! We loved the itinerary that you laid out in a previous post and was hoping you could provide us with the same details! Thanks in advance.

That's like saying "doing the US and Canada in 10 days". But I guess a quick taste is better than nothing, so - more power to you. Have fun!

The flight even from the US west coast is a long one, and not cheap. Even Queenstown, NZ to Sydney is 3 hours (plus airport transfer and check-in time.) Think hard.

<<That's like saying "doing the US and Canada in 10 days". >>
Not quite. Australia is 77% the size of the US, New Zealand is .00000001% the size of Canada (estimate). But the point remains, YOU CANNOT "DO" AUSTRALIA IN 10 DAYS, you certainly can't "do" both it and New Zealand in that timeframe. Specify your interests. |
Where is BarbAnn?
Just put her name in 'Search the forums'. 10 days is not long enough. |
BigRuss applies geo-statistician's logic, I apply tourist's logic. What percentage of Canada's total surface is sightseeable? But we make the same point, and OP knows that they are overstating it by using the word "doing". More like dipping toes, catching a whiff but no more, sampling a drop...

Who is BarbAnn and when did she say that Australia and New Zealand could be done in 10 days?
I also wonder if we'll ever hear from JMGILBOY again! |
I'm here!
The girls are still talking about their trip! They did however have a little two weeks including flights from Sacramento. They were on the go ALL the time. Is it the way I would travel...no (I'm 63), But, the OP only has a limited time. Jmgilboy, what details do you need? |
