I would like to travel to Australia and go to ayers rock, cairns, adelaide, and sydney,
and travel to Thailand, and maybe Burma? Best times to visit both Countries?

I like to travel at a slow-moderate pace, have free time to relax, like to try new foods, visit museums, wildlife, and seek adventure!

Besides Jetstar (affiliate of Quantas, any other economy flight carriers from Austrailia to Thailand? (Cheap?)

WOULD YOU MIND TELLING ME WHY YOU THINK JUNE, JULY, AND AUGUST ARE THE BEST MONTHS TO VISIT AUSTRALIA. ACCORDING TO THE BOOKS I BOUGHT, THOSE ARE THE WINTER MONTHS DOWN UNDER. I WAS HOPING LATE AUGUST, SEPTEMBER, AND SOME OF OCTOBER WOULD BE THE BEST, BASED ON THE WEATHER STATISTICS I'VE FOUND. I WAS PLANNING TO GO FOR 6 WEEKS OR SO IN THAT TIME FRAME, BUT BEING NEW TO LIVING IN FLORIDA, BEING IN A "...GOING TO AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND..." DAZE (SOMEWHAT OUT OF TOUCH FRAME OF MIND), I WAS BRIEFL YJUST OBLIVIIOUS TO THE HURRICANE SEASON STARTING IN JUNE AND ENDING IN DECEMBER. I LIVE IN THE HEAT OF FLORIDA WITH SUMMERTIME 85-100 F. DEGREES FOR THE HIGH HUMIDITY TEMPERATURES, SO HOPED FOR SOME 60'S TO 70'S TEMPERATURES DOWN UNDER.

Virgin is another cheaper airline that does internal and international flights.

Qantas often has cheap deals, sign up on their website for notifications.

Well what victorbritts suggested would imo be pretty right for some of the places you want to visit ( eg Cairns,Uluru (Ayres Rock ) and Darwin.The trouble is, because you want to go way north and way south to Tasmania plus in between, the "best" months will be different. You do realise you are covering a large part of the country so how long are you coming for? You would be best to go to the Thailand forum for that part of your trip but generally November-February are the most pleasant months there.
